I’ve been extraordinarly bad about updates, but I have a good excuse, since I’ve been spending nearly all my spare time working on a comprehensive redesign of the entire site. Although it has taken forever, I think I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and hope to have the new site up within the next few weeks. Stay tuned…Now that spring is here, the whippets are hitting the field again, so there are a few exciting things to report:
Last weekend at the TPIHC ASFA trials in Auburn, WA, Kestrel won a hotly contested 4th place runoff in a large, competitive open stake for more points towards her title. Ringer was 2nd in the FCH stake, closing in on his LCM.
Fulani finished 2006 as AKC lure coursing #8 whippet and #18 all breeds! This weekend in CA, she won a 5 point BOB at the AKC trial in Livermore, bringing her to within a mere 4 points of her LCX. Go Fulani!
Wren qualifies for her AWC Award of Versatility in 2007!
On a sadder note, Levi has rejoined his family here at Serendipity. We send all our best wishes to the Goebel family during these sad and difficult times. Levi will stay for a while to do some racing in pursuit of his ARX title, but may eventually be available to the perfect home.
