Ringer, LCM!

by Beth on October 27, 2008

We got home very late last night from the SISFA ASFA trials in Emmett, ID. We had a great weekend – thanks to SISFA for a wonderful time!

Ringer finished 2nd in the FCH stake on Saturday to earn the final handful of points he needed for his LCM! He is now retired from lure coursing but will continue to make occasional appearances on the race track. I am very proud of this honest and hard-running dog who had to work hard in an extremely competitive region to achieve this title. Good boy Ringer!!!

Kestrel won the small open stake both days, bringing her to within just 9 points of her FCH! She is running better and better, more confidently every time, and I’m so proud of how far she has come.

We have a few more race meets in early November before we take our much-needed winter’s rest, but we already can’t wait till spring to hit the field again!
